Principal in Chaos Films - Miami, since 1991.

Spent the longest part of his professional career in Chicago, as owner and operator of Alyn Darnay Productions, a full service Michigan Avenue production company with national clients ranging from Volkswagen to P&G. Alyn is a multi-award winner for his creative and innovative advertising executions.

Masters in Advertising Psychology. Post-graduate career in production and script writing at MGM and 20th Century Fox in Los Angeles, where he also did Unit Production Management and Second Unit Directing.

Two years with Famous Players Corp. as Director/Producer on several films with the president, Albert Zugsmith.

His career in advertising production began with Grey West in Los Angeles. Then in Chicago, with Burnett and Thompson and, for several years, with advertising genius Robert L. Edens.

Abroad, Alyn spent several years directing, producing, and writing in England and Europe, South America and Africa.

It should also be mentioned that he has directed and produced 14 Theatrical Productions over the years, produced several Live Television Shows, has sold two original scripts and has been published in National Magazines. Two of his short films “BarTicks” and “Citizen”, have won at the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival. Lately he has completed projects for: TelStar Records, Blue Magic Records, MTV, The Food Network, Nortel, Times Mirror Magazines, E! Entertainment, Ferrari, Ericsson, RC Cola, CNN, Snapple, Pal Zileri Italian Mens Clothing, SwitchTel, and London Equities.
